At Deepfleet Gundogs and kennels in the county of Essex, UK, we train and breed a variety of gundogs, including working/hunting Cocker Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels, Labradors and Golden Retrievers, for the shooting field and competitive field trialing. We also have for sale trained and part-trained gundogs, Cocker and English Springer Spaniels, Labradors and Golden Retrievers. We can provide field trial champion/winning dogs at stud in the above breeds. Much care and thought goes into our breeding programme which produces puppies of sound temperament and working ability.

Our boarding and training kennels are situated 7 miles from the port of Harwich in North East Essex in the village of Great Oakley.

Field Trial Champion Parkbreck Explorer Of Deepfleet (Penny)

 

Penny won The Spaniel Club Open Cocker Stake in October 2001 and the Midland Counties Field Trial Society Open Cocker Stake in January 2002. She competed in the 2002 Cocker Championship. At 6 years of age Penny was retired from trialing and now lives and works in America. Penny's sire was FTCH Jasper of Parkbreck and Dam was FTW Knock many Muffin. Penny is the foundation bitch for Deepfleet Cockers.


Field Trial Winner Deepfleet Flo

 

On Monday 3rd November 2003 Penny's daughter Deepfleet Flo (Lucky) won the Essex Field Trial Society Open Cocker Stake to qualify for the 2004 Cocker Championship. She also received 'Guns Choice' and 'Best Bitch in Stake'.

FTW Deepfleet Flo's sire was FTCH Wernffwrd Cymro Du and her damm was FTCH Parkbreck Explorer of Deepfleet.

In the 2004 Cocker championship at the Dornells Estate, Castle Douglas, Scotland Lucky was awarded a diploma of merrit. 


We have sold many gundogs, trained gundogs and part trained gundogs to satisfied owners including Richard Faulds, the winner of the Olympic gold medal at clay pigeon in Sydney, who said:

"I purchased Deepfleet Angel from Peter in August 2001. She was fully trained. She has been my constant companion since this time and is a wonderful gundog in whatever capacity I use her. She has given me endless hours of pleasure in the shooting field and at home"

In the autumn of 2003 the Faulds family purchased a second Deepfleet Labrador to back up Angel on their expanding shoot.
