Society....3rd Open 14. 24.11.05 Carmarthen W.G.Society....1st Open This result made Rags into a Field Trial Champion and qualifies him to run in the 76th English Springer Spaniel Championship to be held at Holkham Hall, Norfolk on the 11th, 12th and 13th of January 2006. This season Wayne Greig from Essex has made Rag's daughter into a champion now FTCH Deepfleet Jessie and has also won a novice stake with another Rag's daughter. Well done Wayne! Rag's son JJ is now Field Trial Champion Deepfleet Jay. Rags has now sired two Field Trial Champions and three Field Trial Winners. 2006 Wayne Greig has now qualified another young bitch, Deepfleet Teasel, for the 2007 ESS Championship. Rags has now sired two Field Trial Champions and five Field Trial Winners. 2009 It is difficult to track the progress of all Rags progeny but I know he has sired at least 16 (sixteen) Field Trial Winers in addition to the champions. 2010 In 2008 Aubrey Ladyman used Rags at stud on FTCH Rosebay Nectar. The puppies were born on the 12th of April 2008. He ran on a bitch from this litter and has made her (FTCH Rosebay Fantasy) up into a field trial champion at the tender age of 20months. Aubrey also was awarded a Diploma of Merit with this bitch in the 2010 Championship. In 2009 Aubrey used Rags at stud on the 2009 Championship winner Field Trial Champion Rosebay Bella. This is the fouth year running JJ has qualified. He is now 5 years of age. JJ was awarded a Diploma of Merit at the 2008 Championship Apart from his son Deepfleet Yew Buster (second in open stake as a novice, then two seconds in open qualifying stakes) I have run JJ's daughters Deepfleet Young Flyer and Deepfleet Yankee Lady and they were both awarded 2nd place in their respective first novice stakes. Deepfleet Young Flyer won the Essex Field Trial Society's All Aged stake on the 10th of December 2007

He has shown that he will put fire in the bellies of the pups he has thrown but they remain kind and biddable. He is the grandfather of both FTCH Deepfleet Jay and FTCH Deepfleet Jessie. Joe remains rock steady, no noise with a completely sound mouth.
