Some of the young dogs at Deepfleet that are showing promise during current training. We have a number of other youngsters ( Springers, cockers, labs, golden retrievers, clumbers) that will feature on this page if they progress well during training.

Deepfleet Yew Buster is a very good looking, powerful English Springer Spaniel born on the 14th of April 2005. He is sired by FTCH Deepfleet Jay out of Bonniemore Honey Mae. I ran him in the Eastern Counties All Aged Any Variety Spaniel Stake on the 27th of January 2007 at Robert Gough's estate at Cavenham, Suffolk. All though still quite green he ran a good trial and was placed second and awarded 'Gun's Choice' which pleased me as the guns were very good shots and enjoyed the dog work at the trial. I will campaign Buster in field trials next season and would expect him to be standing at stud at Deepfleet during this period. He is a very stylish worker with a mainly white body, thick low tail and a very kind temperament just like his sire.

FTAW Deepfleet Yew Buster came second in his first Open Qualifying Stake at the Ampton Esate on the 15th of November 2007. He is now standing at stud at Deepfleet (Full trial results on Stud Page)

Deepfleet Diesel is a gold cocker dog born on the 5th of March 2006. He is sired by FTCH Roanlodge Treacle out of Larford Rhyme of Deepfleet. He is smaller than his sire but is very fast over the ground. So far so good.

Macgiriaght Citron (Ricky) is a solid lemon cocker dog born on the 29th of April 2006. He is sired by FTCH Roanlodge Treacle out of Field Trial Winner Creignant Criglan Macgiriaght, a fast stylish black cocker owned by Frank Geraghty. Work commitments have prevented Frank from campaigning this bitch as much as he would have liked but in other circumstance it would have gained its title. Ricky is showing promise, a stylish hunter so once again so far so good.

Deepfleet Victor was born on the 10th of June 2005. He was sired by FTCH Rytex Ragamuffin of Deepfleet out of Deepfleet Esther. This was the third mating of this breeding which has been very successful for me. Unfortunately Victor was the only puppy and was born by caesarian section. He was always a big, stylish puppy and was precocious throughout his training. I ran him in his first trial at 17 months old in the Eastern Counties Spaniel Society Novice stake on the 15th of November 2006 and he was awarded a certificate of merit. I decided that as Victor was a repeat mating of FTCH Deepfleet Jay there was little point in running him on to eventually stand at stud at Deepfleet. So in February Victor was sent to America to compete on their trial circuit. I have every reason to believe that Victor will gain his title in the USA.
